I just purchased this book Jewelry Designs using Artisan Lampwork Beads and I am amazed at the variety of beads created. I never knew you could get so many wonderful, colourful designs and the best thing; they are all unique. I love the design featuring Bali silver. Simply stunning!Going to a jewellery store you are limited in choosing "off the rack" bead jewellery. You run the risk of seeing the same design over and over again which takes away that special feeling especially if you are buying artisan lampwork bead jewellery for a special person.
But this book has really opened my eyes. Tania from Tanglebeads demonstrates the huge variety of options not only describing the process but providing great photos of the different styles.
Jewelry Designs using Artisan Lampwork Beads is a simple, quick read but it really opens your eyes to the world of artisan lampwork beads and the incredible, unique possibilities. I'll be bookmarking this author for future books in the series!

I loved all of the tips and pictures. This book gave me great inspiration, over all it was an awesome book D
Even though this book is very short, it inspires me to want to create. The author has an unpretentious voice and is very encouraging to the reader. Nice pictures. I'd have given five stars if it was longer.
Zero projects are offered. There is one photo of an unoriginal piece of simple jewelry, and a few poorly written sentences exclaiming how great beads are. These are not projects!
In total, twelve pictures of simple lampwork beads used in jewelry, with a paragraph of general description about each. No specifics of stringing technique, sources, etc., or details about what to look for in lampworked beads.
